"Slow" Season

I am sitting at a local coffee spot getting some of the admin. and backend work done. I have been taking a deep dive into Kendall Marvel's discography and I have to say that I am diggin' it. I have a few artists that have some shows with him and I am looking forward to it. I am deep in domestic life, recording sessions and songwriting, prepping the calendar and getting things locked in for the year. When it comes to this business, I am constantly learning to keep the ball rolling. That task falls solely on me. Some of the artists I play with shift and their priorities shift project-to-project with each tour cycle. I may be doing some new things this year but we will have to see which floats to the top.

I am working on some curriculum videos for a company that I have worked with in the past. I am both nervous and excited about the prospect of a new challenge. Honestly, my first thought was: “What would I have to contribute that would be worth watching and learning?!” I know a lot of us have that thought in our prospective fields but why? IF you have put any effort into a thing and made honest attempts at progression, you have a point of view that may be worth hearing. I had to sit back and take stock of that very thing before I even considered how to articulate it. I am still massaging it into the final form but I think I have something cool that I will share once it is in the final stages. Stay tuned on that.

More shows incoming as well and that pesky podcast is in the works. So there are a few things cooking!

I am offering guitar lessons, sessions rates and have road availability so let's collaborate this year! I am working to make 2025 the best year yet! I appreciate you guys following along with the journey and my rebuilding of a career that I did my due diligence to build over the years.

Much love! Cheers
